After winning this third Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, Dario Franchitti celebrated with his family – including his dogs.
The Italian champ posed for photos along the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with wife Ashley Judd and their two cockapoos, Buttermilk and Shug, who have also helped dad mark his accomplishment in the past.
But despite being repeat visitors to Indiana’s capital, the pups still managed to live it up.
“This is Shug’s 3rd trip to the Indy 500 Winner’s Photos,” Judd Tweeted. “She went straight to the famed bricks and the milk bottles.”
The Missing star also gave the dogs their due for helping Franchitti claim top prize.
“Our cockapoos are proud of their Pappa,” she wrote. “They gave him a lot of calm /focus/ love before the race.”
