Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, meet Muffin and Scruffy, a bonded pair of pups who were given up after a divorce.

These purebred Jack Russell terriers arrived at the Potter League for Animals of Middletown, Rhode Island, at the beginning of August. In their previous home, they were left alone for long periods of time, which made them extremely close. They’re totally best friends, but definitely in need of a little human TLC.

“You can see these two just love to be together,” says Pearl Gonzalez, director of operations for the Potter League. “They will play outside with each other and even rest on the same bed when they settle in for the night.”

Scruffy, a rough coat male, and Muffin, a smooth coat female, are both 6 years old and would be best in a family with older children. Have pets already? No problem. Scruffy and Muffin are open to meeting new friends.

If you think these two are for you, visit the Potter League website or call 401-846-8276.
