Home. Some pets never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary adoptable pet every week. Today, we’d like you to meet Nomey, a happy-go-lucky guy who lives life to the fullest.
Look up the term “happy tail” in the dictionary and you’ll see Nomey. “His tail wags so much that he was smacking it on the sides of his run and causing the tip to bleed,” says Roger Keyser of the Eleventh Hour Rescue in Rockaway, N.J., where Nomey has been since mid-December. “It’s actually a [common] thing.”
The 1-year-old enthusiastic dog came to the rescue via a small rescue group in Georgia and not much is known about his past – but he’s fully embracing the present. “Nomey is a man of action,” says Keyser. “He loves to play and interact with everything within his reach. He will quickly warm up to everyone he meets and want to snuggle and hug you immediately.”
After Nomey lets out all of his energy, he does revel in a little down time. “He’ll want to climb up on your lap and settle down,” he says. “His antics are very entertaining to watch and he is a good boy in every situation.”
If you think Nomey is the friendly fur ball you’ve been searching for, contact the Eleventh Hour Rescue at (973) 664-0865.
