Adopt Me! Flirt Jessa Is Always Begging for a Belly Rub

Home. Some cats and dogs never have one to call their own. We’d like to help change that by introducing you to an extraordinary homeless pet every week. Today, we’d like you to meet Jessa, a super affectionate 3-year-old kitty who will do anything for a belly rub.

Take note, ABC casting directors! This silky black feline is a strong candidate for the next season of The Bachelorette. “Jessa is a bit of a flirt,” says Jolene Miklas, director of communications at Animal Friends rescue outside Pittsburgh, Pa. “The first time I walked past her playpen, she started meowing and squirming around on her back, batting her paws at me to get my attention.”

In her two months at the 13-acre sanctuary, Jessa has built up her TV resume, too. “She was perfectly poised and friendly when we took her to appear on a live TV spot,” says Miklas. “She likes to be petted and held and will roll, squirm, and bat her little paws around if she can find an eager audience.”

Given up by a family with two kids who loved her very much, the “calm, confident, and affectionate” feline loves people and would enjoy a furry sibling or two. “Jessa is good with other cats,” she says. “She always greets my visitors by running up to them, throwing herself at their feet, and begging for a belly rub!”

And, unlike other cats we know, Jessa enjoys riding in cars. Purr-fect for those hometown dates!
