There’s now officially no need to turn back time — Cher is returning to the stage for her first live awards show performance in more than 15 years.

The legendary singer will perform her ’90s anthem “Believe” at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on May 21, Dick Clark Productions confirmed to the Associated Press Thursday morning.

Cher, who turns 71 the day before the awards show, will also receive the ICON award at the event, joining an esteemed group of past winners including Céline Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Prince, Stevie Wonder and Neil Diamond.

Dion, who tearfully accepted the ICON award last year just four months after husband René Angélil’s death, is also set to perform, as are Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj, Lorde, Drake, John Legend and others.

Cher, who won the Best Actress Oscar in 1988 for Moonstruck, is currently spending plenty of time in Vegas as she completes her residency at the Park Theater at Monte Carlo.

The Billboard Music Awards will air live from the T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, May 21 on ABC.
