Where do brothers come from? Well, Zac Efron and Adam DeVine have your answer.

The two actors, who play brothers in the upcoming film Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, sat down to read an ever-so-endearing children’s book about just how little brothers come to be.

In the video, Efron, 28, and DeVine, 32, take turn reading lines out of the book – supposedly written by their fictional counterparts in the film – as illustrations flash across the screen. And while the book starts off innocently, things quickly takes a turn for the raunchy. (A warning: There’s NSFW language in the clip.)

“One day it’s only you on this earth – just mom and dad and plenty of mirth,” reads DeVine.

“And then all of the sudden, there is another,” continues Efron. “They call that f—– your little brother.”

After getting past the confusion of an added family member, the story explains all the fun that can come with having a brother. “Holy s— this guy is just like you.”

“He’s your partner in crime, maybe even a bit keener,” says DeVine, as Efron adds, “He giggles at side boob and the mention of a wiener.”

Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates arrives in theaters July 18.
