One day before the Oscar nominations are to be announced for what Hollywood did best last year, the Golden Raspberry – or Razzie Award – people have announced their contenders for those filmmakers who collectively slipped on a banana peel in 2013.

Just like the Academy Awards, there are surprises as well as expected names in the running.

Up for this year’s 34th annual Razzie Awards – to be presented March 1, the night before the Oscars – are some A-Listers, including first-time nominees Johnny Depp, Naomi Watts and Selena Gomez, as well as 31-time nominee Sylvester Stallone.

Previous “winner” Halle Berry, who proved a good sport by showing up at the ceremony to pick up her 2006 Razzie for Catwoman, has a chance to make another appearance, too.

Among those “honored” are:

Worst Picture
After Earth
Grown-Ups 2
The Lone Ranger
A Madea Christmas
Movie 43

Worst Actor
Johnny Depp, The Lone Ranger
Ashton Kutcher, Jobs
Adam Sandler, Grown-Ups 2
Jaden Smith, After Earth
Sylvester Stallone, Bullet To The Head, Escape Plan and Grudge Match

Worst Actress
Halle Berry, The Call and Movie 43
Selena Gomez, Getaway
Lindsay Lohan, The Canyons
Tyler Perry, A Madea Christmas
Naomi Watts, Diana and Movie 43

Also, notes Golden Raspberry Foundation founder John Wilson, for the first time in their history, the Razzies are working with their worldwide fan-base and the crowd-funding website Indiegogo to, in his words, “put on a high-end show this year and pave the way for the first ever Razzie Awards Broadcast in 2015.”

Perhaps Sylvester Stallone could underwrite it.
