The clip sets the stage for the movie, explaining that eight strangers, who were stranded together by a blizzard, all share a “deadly connection.” The film takes place “on the edge of the American frontier, some time after the Civil War.”

The trailer leaves much to the imagination, but does show us a snowy landscape and lots of bloody graphics, as well as descriptions of the eight characters the film will focus on.

The movie – slated to be released later this year – stars Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen and Bruce Dern.
