Who better to turn to for fatherhood advice than the former leader of the free world?

Former President Barack Obama visited George Clooney‘s mansion in the English countryside west of London on Saturday, May 27 — a week before the actor and his wife Amal welcomed twins.

“Obama arrived around 7:15 in the evening [local time] and left at around 11:30,” a source told PEOPLE.

Added the insider, “[Obama] had tons of security around him.”

Obama’s visit came after the former president met up with Prince Harry at Kensington Palace for an informal chat, where the two discussed support for veterans, conservation and empowering young people, among a range of topics.

Clooney and Obama’s friendship has been documented before: The two got together for a pick-up game of basketball after a fundraiser in Los Angeles, a face-off Clooney detailed in a 2016 Esquire interview.

“I did a fundraiser here with him, and he said, ‘What are you doing tomorrow morning?’ I go, ‘What time?’ He goes, ‘5:30. You wanna play some hoops?’ And I go, ‘Yeah.’ And he goes, ‘All right, we’ll set it up. You got any of your friends want to play?’ ”

Added Clooney, “Now I have this picture of my buddy elbowing the president. It was really fun. He’s a good basketball player.”

Clooney was also in attendance for the former president’s farewell party earlier this year. The January evening at the White House was a star-studded shindig for major Obama donors and famous friends like Robert De Niro, Nick Jonas, Jordin Sparks and Usher, among others.
