If you’re anxiously awaiting the series finale of The Leftovers, you’re not alone — even Jennifer Aniston can’t wait to see how the show ends.
“She’s a fan of the show, so she didn’t want any spoilers,” he said. “She wouldn’t even want to run lines with me … She’s that much of a fan.”
Theroux, 45, is bidding farewell to The Leftovers after a successful three-season run. And while he’s been sworn to secrecy about the details of the finale, he admits that he’s “enormously” happy with how it turned out.
“It’s one of those awkward things where we’re not allowed to talk about what’s going on,” Theroux said. “I can say that I was very happy with the way the show ended, enormously,” he added.

Aniston previously put her fandom on display, accompanying her husband to the premiere of the show in April.
As for the secret to their tight bond, Theroux told PEOPLE at the premiere, “You know, be nice, try and laugh a lot — it’s a lot of the simple stuff,” before joking: “Definitely don’t bring the weepiness home to the wife, because she doesn’t want to hear it.”
The season finale of The Leftovers airs on Sunday, June 4.
