The film, which also stars T.J. Miller, Courtney B. Vance, Kate McKinnon and Olivia Munn, hits theaters Dec. 9, and Aniston tells PEOPLE going to set everyday with such a funny group was “like a vitamin push.”
“The best part about this film was being part of an ensemble again and working with those incredible actors and comedians,” she says.
Aniston, 47, who has previously worked with Bateman, 47, on The Switch, The Break-Up, Horrible Bosses and Horrible Bosses 2, says he is “like family that I actually have a really good relationship with.”

Aniston and husband Justin Theroux have been spotted having dinners in New York with Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, spending New Years with them in Colorado, and even spending time together during their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
Aniston says one of the reasons she and Bateman have remained such good friends is because he is “beautifully consistent as an actor and a human being.”
