Jack Black just cut up some serious rug during an impromptu game of dance charades, raising an impressive $10,000 for charity.
The moves were busted on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, when Ellen offered to donate $1000 to Black’s favorite charity for every popular dance he was able to recreate.
The talk show host, unaware of which moves were on the menu, held up placards illustrating various routines – and if the funnyman performed the move well enough for Ellen to recognize it, he got the cash.
“I do have some moves,” he joked before the game began. “But this could be … an embarrassment of dances!”

After dramatically ripping off his jacket and doing a few stretches, Black nailed his version of dances like the Whip and Nae Nae, the Irish Jig, the belly dance and even Beyoncé‘s single ladies routine.
Ellen was able to correctly identify most of the moves – although the Shimmy and the Whip and Nae Nae had her stumped – and Black was able to secure $10,000 for the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation (UMDF) courtesy of Chideo.
