Ooh, la la!
George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Jodie Foster enchanted the Cannes Film Festival crowd Thursday when they posed for photos prior to a press conference to promote their latest thriller, Money Monster, which is screening out of competition at the prestigious event.
Clooney, 55, opted for an all-black ensemble as he stood alongside Foster, 53, who was all smiles in a white dress and strappy heels. Roberts, meanwhile, exuded European chic in a pinstripe jumpsuit and black heels.
The trio were joined by costar Jack O’Connell, who plays an unhinged investor who hijacks the financial show hosted by Clooney’s character. Roberts plays a producer on the show, which is modeled after Jim Cramer’s Mad Money on CNBC.

During the press conference, Foster revealed that she used Clooney to try and rope in Roberts – and was both shocked and thrilled when she agreed to take the part.
“I asked George ‘can you please send it to Julia,’ so we can get a quick no,” Foster said, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Foster also reportedly thanked Sony Pictures for allowing her to make a film that’s both mainstream and intelligent.
“Those films aren’t being made much anymore,” she said, per THR. “I think people still want to see movies that make them think and make them feel but there aren’t many of them But you don’t have to choose between being a mainstream movie and being an intelligent movie, you can do both.”
Money Monster hits theaters Friday.
