All of Bill Murray’s baseball dreams are coming true.
Not only are his beloved Chicago Cubs in the World Series for the first time since 1945, but it was just announced that the Saturday Night Live vet will sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during Friday’s Game 3 matchup.
Murray will belt out his rendition of the famous tune during the seventh inning stretch, per baseball tradition, Alex Wilcox, a spokesman for the Cubs confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Last week, Murray hilariously interrupted a White House press briefing to announce the Cubs would beat the Los Angeles Dodgers to reach the World Series. The comedian was recently honored with the Mark Twain Prize in Washington, D.C.
The 2016 World Series between the Cubs and the Cleveland Indians is currently tied at one game. The Cubs are heading back to Chicago for three games starting Friday, and are looking for their first title since 1908.
