He’ll be back.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is set to begin filming his first movie role since a scandal erupted over his love child with a housekeeper, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
Just a week after Maria Shriver filed for divorce, online reports say the former California governor, 63, is confirmed to be appearing in Last Stand, a Western flick.
“This is true and there are a number of other film projects under discussion,” the rep says.
Schwarzenegger had said after the split in May that he was putting his acting career on the back-burner, which included a return to the famed Terminator saga.
Schwarzenegger had originally pulled out of the Last Stand project in May right before his marital woes went public, but now he’ll begin shooting in September, according to the reports.
His return to acting was first reported by Deadline.com.
