Funnyman Adam Sandler may be on the verge of spending serious money on Salma Hayek.

Following the success of the 2010 Grown Ups, Sandler, 46, reportedly purchased Maseratis for several of his male costars – but not for his his on-screen wife. However, if the upcoming Grown Ups 2 outperforms its predecessor at the box office, Sandler implied that this time around he will ante up.

“If this one does better, he’s going to get me something better,” Hayek, also 46, told the crowd at CinemaCon on Wednesday during a Sony Pictures presentation.

“A Ferrari,” Sandler told the movie theater owners and film distributors. “Can we help get Salma a Ferrari?”

Despite its critical drubbing, the first Grown Ups took in more than $270 million globally.
