Triplets in Michigan are following in their older sister’s footsteps after she graduated as the valedictorian of her high school three years ago.

“She always pushed herself to be the best and she passed that down to us,” Katelyn Trevino, who with her brothers Cole and Case are all graduating from high school with the prestigious honor on Sunday, told WILX.

“It was kind of our duty to match up to her level and her expectations, and just follow whatever she did,” added Cole, from Bath Township, Michigan.

According to the news outlet, all three siblings encouraged each other along with their parents and teachers. And none of them wanted to be the sibling who didn’t get a 4.0.

“No, no, no, that would be the worst,” Case said. “Because if two of us can do it, then all of us can do it for sure.”

Cole plans to study criminal justice, Katelyn wants to be pre-med and Case is thinking about getting into the medical field, specifically in occupational therapy.

“It’s definitely a really big accomplishment,” says Katelyn.
