Tamar Braxton's Calabasas, California home is full of stunning details, affordable decor finds and meaningful pieces. "The foyer was very important to me because it sets the tone for the house," Braxton tells PEOPLE. "I love the wrought iron."

Light It Up
The light fixture in Braxton's foyer was handmade in Italy. "I just liked that it was different from anything I saw before," she says. "I didn't want a big old chandelier, I wanted something that makes you look up."

The piano is an essential part of Braxton's 8-bedroom, 11-bathroom home. "Me and all of my sisters have pianos in our homes because we are a musical family," says the star of Braxton Family Values, 39. "Pianos are a staple piece for us."

Braxton isn't the only musical member of her family! Her husband Vince, 44, and son Logan, 3, both also make plenty of use out of the piano. "My son has taken a liking to piano playing, which is the greatest thing ever," she says. "He's really attached to it."

"Champagne is every girl's dream!" says Braxton of her bar area, adorned in dark woods and animal print. "How many times do you get the chance to build a champagne bar? I said, 'If I can do it, I'll go ahead and do it.'"

Inspiration from Abroad
The champagne bar was modeled after The Dorchester hotel in London. "What I loved about their bar is it felt like a living room, so I wanted to turn my bar into a living room slash bar, where it's comfortable," she says.

Mixing High and Low
Braxton found the "Champagne" sign at Home Goods for $99. "When I was shopping I just looked for whatever fits," she says. "It's not about the price, it's not about where you get it, it's just about what works for you."

The gold-framed mirror in Braxton's champagne bar has moved with her from house to house. "I got this from Z Gallerie and it's my favorite because it has been in every home that Vince and I have lived in in L.A. — our first home together, then our second home and then this one," she says. "It works in every house!"

"I never dreamed of having a backyard this inviting and amazing," says Braxton. "Whenever we come outside, we just count our blessings."
