Two more members of the Cyrus family are about to step into the spotlight.
Miley is busy coaching her team of aspiring pop stars on The Voice, and Billy Ray is promoting a new country album, Thin Line, but the other members of the Cyrus clan are no slouches. Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, 49, and older half-sister, Brandi Cyrus, 29, are set to star in a new Bravo series, Cyrus vs. Cyrus, the network announced Monday.
The show, which will make its debut in 2017, pits the mother-daughter duo against one another in decorating face-offs. In every 30-minute episode, each Cyrus woman will try to win over one prospective interior design client with her dazzling renovation plans. The homeowner — most will be Nashville “friends and word-of-mouth clients,” Bravo details — must then select whose plan they’d like to pursue for a total room overhaul. The loser must act as the winner’s assistant throughout the makeover process to realize her vision.

Both Tish and Brandi have a love for interior design that should serve them well in the forthcoming series, despite not having any experience that would necessarily qualify them as professionals. Bravo notes both mother and daughter have been “perfecting their passion for décor in their own homes.”
Bravo Media’s SVP of Development, Lara Spotts, noted in today’s release, “They are equally talented designers, but with very different aesthetics, and watching them transform one home a week will be almost as entertaining as the antics that ensue along the way.”
Tish and Billy Rae have been together for over 25 years, but not without their fair share of ups and downs. The couple nearly divorced twice — once in 2010 and again in 2013 — but reconciled each time. They have three children together, Miley, 23, Braison, 22, and Noah, 16. Billy Rae also adopted Tish’s two children from a previous relationship, Brandi, 29, and Trace, 27. (Billy Ray has a third son, Christopher, 24, from another relationship.)
