Kanye West may “have to work with IKEA,” but the Swedish furniture giant isn’t hopping on the Yeezy train quite yet.

“We are really flattered for the attention around the visit, and also in Kanye West’s high interest in IKEA,” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE. “There have been many speculations around potential plans for future collaborations, but we can confirm that we have no collaboration at this moment.”

West, 39, told BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac that he had to create a furniture line with the affordable home store, and that his vision was “a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm.”

“Yo IKEA, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes,” the “Famous” rapper said in the interview that aired Monday, in which he also talked gun violence and presidential plans, amongst other things.

Although the IKEA spokesperson couldn’t be reached for official comment yesterday, the IKEA Australia team released this Facebook post early Tuesday morning that suggests they’re completely open to the idea.

“Hey Kanye, we’d love to see what you’d create…we could make you Famous!” the brand writes.

It looks like we might not see an IKEEZY (as the Twitterverse is calling it) collab any time soon, but they’ve given us hope that some day we can assemble an IKEA tested, West-approved chair in our own homes.
