To make these colorful creations, you’ll need plastic-coated wire, ribbon, felt, scissors, a pen and a hot-glue gun.
3 of 8
Start by cutting two pieces of felt about 9 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide.
4 of 8
Choose a ribbon in a color that complements your felt, and hot-glue lengths of the ribbon onto the felt strips. Leave about 1 inch excess ribbon at both ends.

Next, cut two 8 inch pieces of the plastic-coated wire and hot-glue them onto one of the felt strips.

Hot-glue the two felt strips together so that the wire is hidden inside. Wrap the excess ribbon over the ends and glue in place.

Get folding! Use a pen to help form curved accordion-style bends. The best part of this DIY? The wire is forgiving, so you can try and fail as many times as you need.

Place your greeting card or place card in one of the folds, and squeeze the wire as necessary for a tighter fit. Repeat these steps to create multiple ribbon holders for a festive display everyone will be asking about.
