A Brand-New Bedroom on a Tight Time Crunch
It’s been ten years since The Hills’ Audrina Patridge lived in a Los Angeles apartment with then-BFF Lauren Conrad, trying to navigate jobs, friends and, of course, bad boy Justin Bobby. Now the 31 year old shares her Southern California home with fiancé, Corey Bohan, their daughter, Kirra, and precious pup, Lady. And the only recent drama in their household was caused by a mad-dash master bedroom makeover. “We moved in literally a month before I was due,” Patridge exclusively tells PEOPLE. “I really wanted to get my room done before the baby was here.” After a little research, Patridge came across the affordable online interior decorating service, Decorist, and its director of design, Ashley Redmond, who worked with the expecting parents to create the boho-chic bedroom of their dreams in record time.

Before the space was remade, it was a hodgepodge of items from Patridge and Bohan’s, 34, previous homes. “It was pretty bare,” she says. “I was like, okay we need to get rid of the old and start over.”

Now the room captures the beachy vibe Patridge was hoping for. “I wanted my house to feel like a Bali bungalow,” she says. “It’s very me.”

A Blend of Old and New
Although she was ready to embrace a fresh look, there were a few pieces Patridge already had that she knew she wanted to incorporate, like her statement headboard from Anthropologie and a classic ladder shelf. “I love all the green,” Patridge says of her thriving indoor garden. “All the plants in here are real so it just adds life.”

As for what inspired her aesthetic, she explains, “I have so many amazing pieces from all over the world, from Costa Rica and Bali, and places that we’ve traveled that I’ve collected,” Patridge says.

The black crocodile wallpaper is a luxe detail that adds subtle texture and interest. “It’s so cool, and Corey put it all up,” Patridge says, “He’s the best handyman!”

Globally inspired throw pillows and the detailed white headboard bring a bohemian feeling to the bed. While Patridge loves the ornately carved piece, there’s another member of the family who is even more fascinated by its patterns: “Kirra loves the headboard,” Patridge says. “She literally just smiles [at it]. It’s so cute.”

“Everything’s really affordable! It was either from HomeGoods, Target, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie or West Elm," she says.

Redmond’s designs also bare a resemblance to another aspect of Patridge’s home: her closet. “Ashley was laughing because I have clothes and tops and dresses that match the pattern of the rug,” Patridge says. “It’s kind of funny, you can tell how I dress is kind of like what we’re doing to my room. It’s the same style come full circle.”

Room for the Family
Patridge now loves to spend time with her family in her refreshed retreat. “We watch TV, and play with the baby, and hang out and talk,” she says. “It’s like our cozy little getaway. I love it.”
