After deciding to leave The Great British Break Off in September and crushing the hearts of fans everywhere, beloved judge Mary Berry is now set to appear on a new BBC series.
Mary Berry’s Secrets From Britain’s Great Houses will take Berry and viewers to a new extravagant home every week in each 30-minute episode, showcasing the culinary traditions in each, according to Mirror.
In addition to exploring the homes and talking with the people who keep the places up and running, Berry will also be creating recipes inspired by each homes she visits. “I am so excited to be doing this new series with the BBC,” said Berry, “I have always had an enquiring mind so I know I will be inspired by the great houses we visit.”

“This series will be a real treat for BBC One viewers to go behind the scenes with Mary Berry and explore Britain’s great houses through her love of cooking,” added Charlotte Moore, the director of content at the BBC.
The 81-year-old announced her exit from Bake Off after the show changed channels, moving from the BBC to another British network, Channel 4. Longtime hosts Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc also decided to leave the show, leaving only Paul Hollywood to judge the show on its new home.
The airdate for Berry’s new series has not yet been released, so there’s plenty of time to re-watch every old episode of Bake Off in its glory days until then.
