In June, Heart Magazines and Scripps Networks Interactive will launch the first issue of The Pioneer Woman magazine, which will be sold exclusively at Walmart. Much like her blog, the publication will reportedly cover not only food, but tips and observations about various topics, like parenting, entertaining and working on their family ranch in Oklahoma.
“Since she wrote her first blog post 10 years ago, Ree has become an internet sensation, building on her success with a top-rated Food Network show and steady stream of best-selling cookbooks,” Hearst’s Ellen Levine said in a press release. “Now her fans will be able to connect with her in a whole new way.”
Drummond has confidence that her audience will take to her latest venture, too. “It is a little old school, but one thing I’ve learned through having a blog and then having cookbooks with some of the same recipes, is that people want to hold something in their hand and kick back and read it,” she told the Wall Street Journal. “It’s a natural next step in terms of a medium I haven’t tackled yet.”

This is just the latest of many brand expansions for the culinary star. In addition to her wildly popular blog, television show, and new store, Drummond has authored a multitude of cookbooks and children’s books, and has her own homeware line at Walmart.
“Everything just kind of plays into the other, and feeds off the other,” Drummond told PEOPLE in November of her many businesses. “I do think of myself as a blogger first, but in a way it’s kind of all one big picture.”
