MEL B, SERAFINA SUNSET
The New York City-based chain, Serafina, opened its first California location on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood in September after partnering up with the America's Got Talent judge and her husband, Stephen Belafonte. The menu includes Italian staples like pizza, pasta and seafood. "It's a sexy hotspot if I may say so myself," Mel B says of the space.

SCARLETT JOHANSSON, YUMMY POP
The actress turned her passion for popcorn into a Paris shop serving gourmet flavors of the savory snack. Truffle parmesan, Canadian maple and cheddar are a few of the varieties available inside the barber shop-themed store. Johnasson opened Yummy Pop alongside from her French husband, Romain Dauriac, whose sister will help manage the shop, according to Yahoo!.

TY BURRELL, THE EATING ESTABLISHMENT
The Modern Family actor is adding another spot to his restaurant repertoire. Burrell's family-owned restaurant group recently purchased the traditional American eatery in Park City, Utah and plans to update the drink menu with brands from his other Utah mainstays, Beer Bar and Bar-X. "This is a local institution," he said. "We hope to maintain the name and spirit of the original."

JONATHAN JACKSON & STEVE BURTON, JACK AND JAMESON'S SMOKEHOUSE
The Nashville actor partnered up with his General Hospital co-star and friend to launch a family-friendly restaurant in Franklin, Tennessee. Although it hasn't opened yet, the owners promise "great BBQ, burgers and melts, local brews" as well as "word class" music.

HINES WARD, TABLE 86
The former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver has a new restaurant and it's full of personal touches. Located in the Pittsburgh's Seven Fields neighborhood, the eatery is named after the jersey number (86) Ward wore in the NFL. The former Dancing With the Stars champ is also opening the adjacently-located Vines Wine Bar.

DANNY TREJOS, TREJO'S TACOS
The action star is taking on a new action-packed role: restaurant owner! The Machete actor is opening his first taco shack in L.A. – in a former Taco Bell building, funny enough – in spring 2015. The fast-casual joint will be serving cantina-styler bites, booze and, of course, a variety of tacos.

PIPER PERABO, JACK'S WIFE FREDA
Although the actress might have gotten famous playing a bartender in Coyote Ugly, in real life she owns two Manhattan restaurants: the newer Jack's Wife Freda, in Soho, as well as Employees Only, which opened in 2005 in the West Village. At Jack's, owners Dean and Maya Jankelowitz are proprietors and co-owners, and hail from Israel and South Africa, respectively. The food at this cozy, locally loved spot takes its cues from the owners' roots: Along with standards like burgers and mussels, they've woven in dishes like matzoh ball soup, fried fish balls and African peri-peri (flame grilled) chicken.

CHANNING TATUM, SAINTS AND SINNERS
You're either a saint or a sinner at Tatum's restaurant-bar, a tribute to New Orleans nightlife and the city's Storyville red-light, Burlesque district. A good time is certainly in store for the bustling crowds of the Big Easy: The restaurant (which is decked out in contemporary bordello décor) provides a lengthy cocktail menu with sections dedicated to specialty drinks and dirty martinis.

Attention beer connoisseurs: The Modern Family actor's bar might just have a brew right up your alley. The Salt Lake City beer garden offers 150 beers, housemade sausages and the restaurant's signature breakfast poutine, made with … you guessed it: beer gravy. "It's a super simple menu," Burrell told the Associated Press "Basic, but well-made and local. Instead of putting the energy into a lot of elements, [we] have fewer elements and are taking the time to make them right."

The actress's Hollywood-based restaurant fuses classic steakhouse dishes and Latin flavors, along with signature cocktails made from muddled fruit, tequilas and sangria. The Captain America star and New Orleans native uproots Creole, Cajun and Southern cuisine to Brooklyn, fostering the feel of a neighborhood bar in a metropolitan city – all while hoping to shed light on one of the Big Easy's beloved concoctions: milk punch, a dairy-based cocktail dating back to the 19th century. "I hate when I go to a New Orleans–style bar and they're like, 'Oh, we have Bloody Marys,' " he told New York Magazine in 2013. "And I'm like, 'Do you have milk punch?' And they're like, 'What is that?' I'm like, 'You're not a New Orleans bar.' It's just as New Orleans as Sazeracs and Bloody Marys."
