This 100-lb. Mom of Four Just Set an Insane Burger Eating World Record

Posted on

The reigning champ has done it again!

After setting the record last year at one minute, 53 seconds, Molly Schuyler, a 100-lb. mom of four, claimed the record-holding title again for consuming 7 stacked Hwy 55 burgers, a side of fries and a 20 oz. drink — this time in one minute, 37 seconds.

The competition took place on Saturday in Raleigh, N.C. as part of the annual Hwy 55 World Hamburger Eating Competition.

Schuyler, who is no stranger to eating competitions and is the number one ranked Independent Competitive Eater in the World, filled her body with 5.7 pounds of food and drink and beat out 12 men competing for the $2,500 grand prize.

She previously opened up to PEOPLE about how she tackles the intense consumption: “It’s very mechanical. You just go. Sometimes it might take a couple of seconds to figure out what you’re doing. Once you get a rhythm down, you cannot stop. You keep going on because if stop you’re done. You lost. If you stop you’re done.”
