Have you ever wanted your ice cream to taste like anchovies? Didn’t think so.

On Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon enlisted the help of Mario BataliAshton Kutcher, One Direction’s Liam Payne  and Vanessa Hudgens for a game of “Secret Ingredient.” The game, hosted by Batali, involves the four contestants taste testing a series of dishes prepared with an unconventional ingredient like (spoiler) Roman gelato made with anchovies.

“It’s our job to figure out what that ingredient is,” explains Fallon.

The gourmet meals range from moderately weird to straight up disgusting—so naturally, Fallon has provided each player with a spit bucket under their respective chairs.

The first course of herbal Shanghai soup dumplings with organic bean curd stumps everyone. “You might recognize it. Imagine a dirty bar in Shanghai,” says Batali before revealing the secret ingredient is Jägermeister.

The next entreé of pizza bianco with spring vegetables, burrata and pecorino dusted with crushed red chili flakes gets mixed reviews…thanks to the addition of marshmallow fluff.

“I thought it was a nice thing. Us British people, we have a different concept of what’s going on here. Theres a language barrier,” admits Payne.

“I’m gonna throw up,” says Fallon before guessing correctly.

But the star of the entire game is by far Kutcher and his disgust with each dish. At one point, he dramatically leaves the table to spit up the fish-infused dessert. Watch the video above to see the stars’ reactions and find out who takes home the prize for most talented taste tester.
