ALS PEPPER CHALLENGE
Things are heating up! After NBA writer Tom Haberstroh found out his mother was diagnosed with ALS, his family started the Pepper Challenge to raise money for research—a similar concept to the viral (and chilly) Ice Bucket Challenge of 2014. The new challenge is simple: If nominated, you have to eat the hottest pepper you can and donate as you wish. The milder the pepper you eat, the more money you donate. Since it began, celebrities have begun documenting themselves munching on the fiery-hot peppers.

Trisha picked the habanero because she’s, like, bold, and I don’t want to look like a wimp. I’m going to cry, probably.”
