A shooting in Isla Vista, California, near the UC Santa Barbara campus left three men injured on Monday evening.

Police have taken one suspect into custody, while another remains at large, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The three men were taken to the hospital for treatment. Two of the men were shot and one had been assaulted.

One assailant escaped in a white sedan. Authorities believe that that suspect may be injured.

Police confirmed that the other assailant was among the injured taken to the hospital, according to NBC News.

The shooting comes almost a year after Elliot Rodger killed six people at the community college before turning the gun on himself.
