“Welcome to the beginning of our Happy Ending,” T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) Tweeted Wednesday, shortly after his release from federal prison in Arkansas.

“The storm is over & da sun back out. IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE SHAWTY!” completed his message to nearly a million followers. He served 10 months for violating his gun conviction parole when he and wife Tameka Cottle were arrested on drug possession charges in September.

Bureau of Prisons spokesman Chris Burke will not disclose where the halfway house the rapper will complete his 11-month sentence is until he arrives.

Wherever it is, T.I. Tweets that it “feels great to be back where I belong … Back in the arms of those who need me the most.”
