She surrendered to the court Tuesday to begin her jail sentence – and cameras caught almost every moment of the brief hearing. That is, until Lindsay Lohan was handcuffed and taken into custody.

But has a sketch of the actress, 24, as she was cuffed with her hands behind her back and led quietly out a side door by four sheriff’s deputies.

Lohan, who is expected to serve two weeks at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., received her first visitor on Tuesday – lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who said the starlet was having a "difficult time adjusting."

Said Holley: “She’s trying to make the necessary adjustments to an extremely stressful and difficult situation. There were some tears.”
