At least he has a sense of humor.

Rick Springfield was arrested Friday morning after missing a court date related to a DUI arrest in May of 2011.

“My home away from home. Lost hills sheriff station,” he wrote on his Facebook page below a photo of the facility in Agoura Hills, Calif.

The “Jessie’s Girl” singer – who will reprise his role as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital for several episodes in April – explained why he was in trouble.

“Arrested this am on a bench warrant. I didn’t know that I was supposed appear in court a few weeks ago,” he wrote. “It was to do with the old DUI charge and it’s been cleared up and i am free to go.”

Despite the inconvenience, Springfield, 63, certainly seemed to be in good spirits: “Thought I might miss the gig tonite but I will be there and we will celebrate together,” he wrote. “Life is not boring.”
