Nebraska police have released the names of two people they are calling persons of interest in the disappearance of 24-year-old Sydney Loofe earlier this month, who vanished after going on an online date.
Lincoln police are asking the public’s assistance in locating Aubrey Trail, 51, and 23-year-old Bailey Boswell, according to a police news release obtained by PEOPLE.
According to a police spokesperson, the pair have “ties to multiple states.”
Loofe was reported missing by her family on Nov. 16 after she didn’t show up to work after she went on a date the night before, according to Lincoln police.
Police did not specify a possible connection between Loofe, Trail and Boswell and did not comment further, citing their ongoing investigation.
The last confirmed sighting of Loofe was in Nebraska’s Saline County, southwest of Lincoln, Police Chief Jim Bliemeister said at a news conference nearly a week after she was reported missing.
“Circumstances surrounding her disappearance are concerning,” Bliemeister said at the news conference. Local, state and federal authorities are working on the case, according to the recent news release.
On Nov. 15, the night of her disappearance, Loofe’s family says she sent a friend a message on Snapchat saying “ready for my date.”

When she didn’t show up to work the next day, Loofe’s friends became worried, local TV station KETV reports. Her friends didn’t find anyone at her home and her car was still parked in the driveway, a spokesperson previously told PEOPLE.
Since she’s disappeared, Loofe’s phone has been turned off or has died. It last pinged a cell phone tower near Wilber, Nebraska, about 40 miles away from her Lincoln apartment.
