Police in New Jersey have arrested a 29-year-old man they allege threatened to kill two women and their children or other members of their families if they refused to sleep with him.
Salaam Leeks told the unidentified victims that they had to have sex with him to make up for unspecified actions their boyfriends had taken, according to a police statement obtained by PEOPLE.
The Newark man was arrested Tuesday on a number of charges, including criminal coercion, sexual assault, conspiracy, and threatening violence, the statement says.

Leeks allegedly made the threats against the women’s children and family members when they refused his demands, the statement reads.
He is being held on $750,000 bail.
It was not immediately clear Thursday if he had an attorney or had appeared yet in court to enter a plea to the charges.
