Mother Pleads for Return of Missing 7-Year-Old

The case of the missing 7-year-old Reigh Storrow Mills Boss took a new turn with an emotional video appeal from her mother for the child’s return – as authorities work to unravel the mysterious past of Reigh’s father.

In a video posted on the Web site of the Boston police, London-based financier Sandra Boss pleaded with her ex, Clark Rockefeller, to return Reigh – known as “Snooks” – and said that the two adults can still resolve their differences.

“Clark, although things have changed, you will always be Reigh’s father, and I will always be Reigh’s mother,” said Boss in the video, which was recorded Thursday at Boston’s Four Seasons Hotel, the Boston Globe reports.

“We both love her dearly and have only her best interests and well-being in our hearts. I ask you now, please, please bring ‘Snooks’ back. There has to be a better way for us to solve our differences than this way,” said Boss.

“I also want to thank everyone for your help. And Reigh, honey, I love you and miss you so much. Remember you’re always a princess.”

As they search for the child, police say they believe Rockefeller is using a passport with the name Michael Brown and, after having cut his daughter’s hair, may be attempting to disguise Reigh as a boy.

The couple reportedly wed in 1995 and their divorce was finalized last December, with Boss winning custody of Reigh and moving with her to London.

On Sunday, Rockefeller – reputedly no relation to the wealthy American dynasty – allegedly kidnapped Reigh during a visit overseen by a social worker.

On Thursday, reports the Globe, Darryl Hopkins, 54, described as the driver of the SUV that whisked away Rockefeller and Reigh, told the newspaper of the well-rehearsed plan in which he was paid $1,000 to assist in the escape.

Rockefeller, said Hopkins, claimed he needed to distance himself from a man who was harassing him – after Rockefeller and his daughter had breakfast with the man.
