Jaime Pressly will avoid jail time after pleading no contest to drunk driving charges Thursday.

The My Name is Earl actress, 34, was sentenced to three years of informal probation. She is also required to attend a six-month alcohol education class and must have an ignition locking device installed on her car.

Pressly was arrested for DUI in January in Santa Monica, Calif., days after separating from her now ex-husband, Simran Singh. Police said her blood alcohol level was nearly three times the legal limit of .08. She previously pleaded not guilty to the charges.
