Brett Favre Sued for Sexual Harassment

Brett Favre is in trouble again.

Two former massage therapists for the New York Jets, Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole, filed suit against the football star, as well as the New York Jets and Lisa Ripi, a woman who hires massage therapists for the team, in the Supreme Court of the State of New York Monday, Good Morning America reports.

Last week, Favre was fined $50,000 by the NFL for failing to cooperate in an investigation into allegations that he sent inappropriate messages to former Jets host Jenn Sterger.

In the new lawsuit, Scavo alleges that Favre treated her like a “hanging slab of meat” when they both worked with the team in 2008. She also says he proposed a three-way with her and another therapist, writing a text message to the other woman reading, “Brett here, you and Crissy want to get together, I’m all alone,” according to the lawsuit.

Scavo claims that when she rejected the advances of the quarterback – who has said he’s now retired from the game for good – her husband, Joseph Scavo, called him to demand an apology. Joseph Scavo said his wife then came under fire from her boss, Lisa Ripi, another defendant in the lawsuit.

From then on, according to the suit, both Scavo and Shannon O’Toole were never offered work with the Jets again.

Scavo and O’Toole’s attorney, Elizabeth Eilender, said her clients did not want to file a lawsuit, but felt they had no choice when the Jets refused to give them their jobs back.

Representatives for Favre were not available for comment; the N.F.L and the Jets had no response to the reports.
