Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on murder charges for a second time, according to a report, this time in connection with a drive-by shooting in 2012 that killed two men.

A grand jury in Suffolk County, Massachusetts, handed down the indictment, according to multiple reports.

Hernandez, 24, who was charged last year with the killing of Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional football player, now stands accused of murdering Daniel Abreu, 28, and Safiro Furtado, 29.

Surveillance images reportedly show Hernandez at the same Boston nightclub, Cure Lounge, as Abreu and Furtado on the night they were killed. After they left, an SUV pulled alongside their BMW at a stoplight and someone inside the SUV opened fire.

Investigators believe Hernandez was the shooter, according to court documents.
