Miranda Lambert. The Band Perry. Brad Paisley. This year’s ACM Awards are dominated by powerhouse performances from country’s new guard. But among these fresh faces, we also see a special sect of entertainers: Hitmakers of the 1990s.

From Blues Traveler to Jewel, Sunday’s show boasts stars straight from the era of flannel and Lilith Fair. In fact, all of these veteran musicians had their first big single in 1994. While the ACMs rage on, let’s revisit the songs that put these attendees on the map.
