It’s a match made in the stars.

Dierks Bentley and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder shared a look – leather jacket, dark tee, cropped hair, bouncy dance moves – and lead vocals on the band’s hit single “Counting Stars” when the two acts collaborated for a live taping of a CMT Crossroads special, airing later this month.

Bentley, 38, a longtime fan of the band, met them for the first time at Nashville rehearsals for the 60-minute show. Among other mash-ups from both acts, Bentley also lent his vocals to “Good Life” and OneRepublic got their bluegrass and country on with Bentley s “Up On The Ridge” and “I Hold On” from the just-released album Riser.
