Kelsea Ballerini‘s The First Time tour is so hot it’s setting off fire alarms.

The 23-year-old country star just finished a sold out weekend of shows on her first-ever headlining tour, hitting venues in Boston, New York City and Buffalo — all documented in an exclusive, behind-the-scenes roundup video.

Singing from the stage at Irving Plaza last Friday, Ballerini was briefly muted by blaring alarms — but took them in stride and kept the audience pumped up.

“We were singing a very sentimental song called ‘High School’ and the fire alarm went off,” joked Ballerini in the video, “I was trying to have a special moment but it didn’t happen, I can’t do that.”

Ballerini performed hits like “Peter Pan” and “Love Me Like You Mean It” for her gathered fans.

It’s been an exciting week for the rising star: she was also nominated for the Grammy for best new artist.

Of the big honor, Ballerini said on social media, “I have zero percent chill about it.”
