Their collaboration will take place at the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, which airs live on CBS, April 7 in Las Vegas – and will honor Dick Clark, who began producing the program in 1979 until his death a week after last year’s show.

The talented musical pair are the two most recent winners of the show’s artist of the decade honor, with Strait being acknowledged for his work in the ’00s and Brooks in the ’90s.

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will be hosting this year’s program. Tune in for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, April 7 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
