Jennifer Lopez gets down with DM. On Friday, the singer released her latest track “Amor, Amor, Amor” and decided to promote it in a unique, but very modern way: She asked her fans to post a screenshot of themselves listening to the tune on social media. In return, she’d shoot the lucky few a direct message.

“Tweet #AmorAmorAmor with a screenshot of you listening to the song. I’ll be DMing some people who do!” the Shades of Blue star tweeted Nov. 10. Her followers immediately flooded the hashtag with screenshots. One follower wrote: “Loving this song it’s on repeat can’t get enough.” Another echoed: “It’s on repeat!”

Lopez thrilled fans when she followed through with her promise. Excited participants shared photos of the Bronx-born artist’s DMs to them.

J.Lo released the sexy track, featuring reggaeton artist Wisin, with an accompanying music video on Friday. Since its release, the video has generated more than eight million views.  The music video — directed by Jessy Terrero— was filmed on the subways of New York City and shows the Nuyorican channeling her “Jenny From The Block” days.

Wisin spoke to PEOPLE CHICA about working with Lopez and what they duo set out to accomplish with “Amor, Amor, Amor”: “I think it’s a great blessing that Jennifer dares to do songs like this,” he said. “I tried to take her towards a more urban, rhythmic and electronic sound, and I think we achieved that.”
