With their busy careers in full swing, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are finding thoughtful ways to spend time with one another even if it’s while they’re at work. The baseball player-turned-businessman revisited his superstar girlfriend on the Shades of Blue set and shared the experience with his followers.
Rodriguez filmed his evening on set via Instagram Live—even abiding by the rules when it came time to keep quiet while scenes were being shot. He answered back to followers’ comments while also giving them a behind-the-scenes look at Lopez in front of the camera. When she took a break from filming, the triple threat joined in on the live fun and made a few shoutouts alongside A-Rod, who was having a good time making jokes.
However, the former Yankee had a somewhat difficult time with the live feature, not knowing that there was audio and also not realizing how to turn the screen around to selfie mode.
Followers also got a description from Rodriguez of J.Lo’s upcoming video for her highly anticipated single “Ni Tù Ni Yo,” featuring Gente de Zona, which was shot in Monroe County, Florida. “It’s probably the greatest video I’ve ever seen,” he said. “It takes me back to the MTV days, Daisy Fuentes—just the era. It’s going to be amazing. The dress. The hair. It’s all on point.”
The lovebirds’ hectic schedules have not been a worry for the pair. “If you want to be together you are together,” Rodriguez told Extra earlier this month.
Last night, the 41-year-old appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. He jokingly admitted that although he’s a baseball star, people confuse him to be a part of J.Lo’s security team. “When I was with the Yankees, and we won the world championship, and you wear the pinstripes, you think you’re pretty cool,” he told Fallon. “But then you hang out with Jennifer, and they confuse me with the security guard all the time!”
