Accustomed to "breaking the Internet" with her bare-all photos, Kardashian shared this image on Instagram with the caption "liberated" as a response to the backlash she received for posting a photo the day before completely nude.

RiRi faced serious repercussions for revealing skin. Instagram temporarily shut down the singer from the social media platform completely after she shared NSFW topless photos she took for a French magazine. However, she took the photos to Twitter, who seemed to think they were okay.

Not all online censorship goes back to nudity. A few years ago, the Mexican actress and model reported that Instagram had removed a photo that she had posted in support of the Mexican soccer team that was up against Croatia.

And who said that only women get naked and cause a fuss on social networks? James Franco was censored by Instagram after they removed this photo as soon as it was published. Although taken down from the platform, the picture still makes its rounds on the Internet.

In 2014, the comedian posed topless on top of a horse, and the picture was immediately taken down because of community guidelines. Handler protestingly stated, “If a man posts a photo of his nipples, it’s OK, but not a woman? Are we in 1825?”
