PHOTOS: What It Looks Like When You Sneak an iPhone Backstage at Westminster

Posted on

You already knew the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show was a dazzling feast for the eyes, with thousands of purebred pups (and for the first time, mutts too!) prancing around New York City piers and Madison Square Garden in their finest canine fur.

But in these shots from Getty photographer Justin Sullivan, the two-day event gets a touch of Old Hollywood glamor, with stunning black-and-white close-ups capturing the dogs of Westminster before, during and after their moment in the spotlight.

Sullivan took the portraits on his iPhone 4S, before adding black-and-white filters in editing app SnapSeed.
