In addition to planning her upcoming nuptials with Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo has also secured a new gig as co-host on ABC’s hit show Wipeout, the network confirms to PEOPLE.

Minnillo, 30, will replace Jill Wagner, who announced in April that she would be leaving the popular game show after its fourth season to pursue other opportunities. Minnillo will join the ever-witty commentators John Henson and John Anderson beginning with season five’s Winter Wipeout edition.

“We will miss Jill, but are thrilled to welcome Vanessa to the team and excited to bring her enthusiasm to the show,” Wipeout creator/executive producer Matt Kunitz said in a statement. “She is a great host with a fun and natural energy that our viewers will love.”

Minnillo previously co-hosted MTV’s Total Request Live and worked as a New York-based correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. She’s also guest starred on Hawaii Five-O and 30 Rock.
