Only 11 days after she was released from rehab, Lohan was arrested and booked in Santa Monica, Calif., on several charges: DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended license. It was the second time the actress was arrested; in May, she was charged with a DUI as well as having "a useable amount of cocaine" in her car.

Following his sold-out show in Atlanta, the rocker dropped by a local waffle house with his entourage – only to get in a fight with a male customer. Kid Rock faces a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, and in true rock star form, signed autographs as he made his way out of the DeKalb County jail.

The reality star served 82 minutes of a four-day sentence for a Dec. 11 DUI bust in August. The reasoning for her early release was overcrowding, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Just a few days after the Hills star was arrested in Greenville, N.C., for underage drinking and resisting a public officer during a nightclub raid, Wahler was sentenced to two months in jail in March for beating two men during a 2006 drunken altercation. He was again booked in April on charges of assault and criminal trespassing – and entered rehab a month later.

LISA MARIE NOWAK
The respected astronaut was arrested in February for attacking and attempting to kidnap a woman she considered her romantic rival. Nowak, who wore a disguise when she allegedly assaulted Colleen Shipman with pepper spray, was fired by NASA, charged with attempted murder and later apologized to Shipman.

Following his DUI arrest in September, the 24 star surrendered to a Glendale, Calif., jail to begin a 48-day sentence on Dec. 6. Sutherland, who had been on probation for a previous DUI when he was picked up in Hollywood last fall, was assigned to laundry and kitchen duty. "I'm very disappointed in myself for the poor judgment I exhibited," he said in a statement. "I'm deeply sorry."

The troubled country music star was charged with battery and resisting arrest after scratching her mother's face during a fight at her family home. McCready was quoted as saying a family Scrabble game got out of hand, but failed to inform probation officers about the violation, resulting in her arrest at Nashville International Airport.

The former football star was arrested and held without bail in Las Vegas in connection with an armed robbery of sports memorabilia. Simpson was charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit burglary and burglary with a firearm. Simpson was later charged with seven more felonies, including kidnapping and is due to stand trial.

The former Laguna Beach star was arrested on suspicion of DUI near Laguna in March. Two people (including Smith's passenger) suffered minor injuries.

The heiress reported for jail in June after being sentenced to 23 days for violating her probation from a DUI charge. Hilton was released to her home a few days later by L.A. Sheriff Lee Baca, only to be sent right back to jail by Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer. Hilton was released from jail June 26.
