Stunning Time-Lapse of Two Bulls Wildfire in Oregon (VIDEO)

Posted on

The Two Bulls fire at Deschutes National Forest near Bend, Oregon, continues to burn. The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has estimated the total damages from the fire at around $2.2 million, with over 6,000 acres of forest destroyed.

As of Monday, firefighters had contained 25% of the fire, though it was expected to remain challenging until Thursday at least.

Bend resident Michael Kellogg, who runs, shot this time-lapse footage from June 7-8 – when the fire was under 0% containment – of the wildfire raging through the forest over Bend.

It’s eerie footage, particularly as the sky turns orange over the Bend skyline. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities have been reported so far. Tuesday, investigators said they believe the fire was human caused, according to Oregon news outlet KOIN 6.
