Courtney Love was in a courtroom again on Monday, this time to set a trial date for Sept. 30, when she will face two felony drug charges for illegal possession of the painkillers Oxycodone and hydrocodone.

The 40-year-old rocker, who remains free on her own recognizance, arrived in Beverly Hills Superior Court sporting a purple knit top over a black halter and black heels. She fidgeted in her chair during the 10-minute hearing before Judge Elden S. Fox, the Associated Press reports.

Asked if she found the trial date acceptable, Love (who’s had to cancel concert dates to deal with her legal problems) initially told Fox, “I don’t know,” then consulted with her lawyer, agreed to the date, then thanked the judge before leaving. She could face up to three years and eight months in prison if convicted on both charges.

Love faces a separate assault felony charge for allegedly attacking a woman with a liquor bottle April 25 at the Los Angeles home of her ex-boyfriend and manager, Jim Barber. Her arraignment in that case is scheduled for Friday.

Last month, Love also was sentenced to 18 months in a drug rehabilitation program after pleading guilty to being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor charge connected to an alleged break-in at Barber’s house last October.

She also faces charges of assault and reckless endangerment in New York City for allegedly striking a fan with a microphone stand during her impromptu performance at a club in March.
